While you wait
- Move furniture, rugs and electronics away from the drip.
- Put a bucket or towels under it.
- If the ceiling is bulging with water, keep people out from under it.
- Take a few photos of the ceiling and the room. They help later.
- Stay off the roof. Wet shingles are slick, and storms leave loose limbs overhead.
What we do
We cover the damaged area to stop more water getting in, then check the attic and the roof to find the cause. You get video of the damage and a written price for the permanent repair. If a storm caused it, we document the damage and, if you file a claim, meet the adjuster at your house.

Will a tarp hold?
A properly fastened tarp keeps the water out until the permanent repair. We fix the cause as soon as it is safe and dry enough.
Is this a storm claim?
Maybe. We document the damage with photos, video and a written report. Whether to file is your call, and your insurer decides what is covered.
